Brentwood Summer Portraits | Tennessee Portrait Photographer

As a photographer coming from Arizona to Tennessee, it still amazes me how different it is here than what I am used to. And yet – even with those differences, my joy in capturing my clients in beautiful light is the same. This session was a joy to shoot, with a gorgeous, energetic model and a fun, trendy floral purse as a prop. We had so much fun! Take a look at some of the lovely portraits from this session below:

Phoenix Temple Baptism Portraits | Arizona Portrait Photographer

I was so honored that little J’s mom asked me to capture her 8th birthday portraits at the Phoenix Temple in preparation for her baptism. We had so much fun and I absolutely loved the beautiful dress she wore with the adorable flutter sleeves.

Interesting Fact: As a photographer, I definitely try to take the sacred nature of the temple grounds seriously, so I only photograph clients that are there because the temple has special meaning for them. There are currently 168 LDS temples in operation across the globe. For members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, all temples are a sacred place of worship and learning, so it’s not a place I use as a regular location.

Spring Rain Maternity Session | Arizona Maternity Photographer

We photographed this session in a beautiful location to celebrate this couple expecting their first child. While we were photographing, we were caught in a sudden rain shower. It didn’t last very long, but here in Arizona, it’s fun to get some precipitation. We kept photographing (there was no thunder or lightning) and we had an amazing time. Congratulations to these two expecting their sweet little girl!

One of the great things about being a photographer is watching my client’s families grow. I have photographed the newborn session for every one of this family’s babies, and now they have three beautiful boys! Their third baby boy has some very excited older brothers that loved giving him gentle hugs and kisses.

Desert Glam Senior Session | Arizona Senior Photographer

I was contacted by this beautiful senior’s awesome aunt to photograph her senior portraits. I am a proud aunt myself, so I can totally picture doing this for my nephews someday! I loved setting up this session and we had so much fun hiking around the location and capturing amazing light. This senior knew how to really rock her poses and she had a contagious laugh and smile.
